The Orcses didn't kill them, my Precious !!! We must follow them now, or the Precious will be out of our reach forever !!! Filthy hobbitses !!! We wants it !!! It's ours !!! But the woods are too bright for us, my Precious... Evil Elves... They try to kill us... But we will follow the Precious...
Gollum followed into Lórien @ 05:19 p.m.
Monday, February 3, 2003
We reached the woods of Lórien as fast as I expected. I knew my companions loathed the way I drove them like that, but even at this pace the Orcs were close behind. We met with Haldir, the Guardian of the Forest and I asked him to let us in. He hesitantly agreed and lead to us Caras Galadhon.
While we walked through the forest I saw a beautiful golden flower that made me think of my beloved Arwen. Arwen vanimelda, namarië... I whispered softly, clasping the Evenstar in my hand. Why am saying good-bye to her now ? Is it that I have no hope to live after this journey ?
Lady Galadriel is not here, but Lord Celeborn offered to host us so I accepted. He set up tents for the Fellowship to stay in. The Hobbits claimed a tent for themselves. They like to stick together. Gimli and Boromir had another one. Apparently Boromir still doesn't like me or Legolas that much. Which left me and Legolas to share the third...
OOC: The Elvish words mean Good-bye Arwen, my beautiful beloved... Thanks Eärwen !!!
Aragorn said namarië to Arwen @ 05:15 p.m.
Monday, February 3, 2003
We reached the Woods of Lórien at the end of the day, Aragorn running in front of us to show the way. I know my companions had found him emotionless to make us go so soon after Gandalf's death but I know too that Aragorn is deeply shocked by the loss of our common friend. I can feel his sadness. He just thinks he can't show it as he has now to lead the Fellowship. The task is hard for him as he has always refused to accept his destiny.
Haldir of Lórien, Guardian of the Woods, caught us as we arrived in his territory. The night was falling, we were all weary but he didn't let us go further. Apparently, we are not welcome. Because of the Ring. So Aragorn pleaded our cause, his Elvish words spilling into the darkness in a soft whisper. Finally, Haldir accepted to lead us to Caras Galadhon.
After one last day of travel, we finally reached the city of Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn, the heart of the Elfish kingdom. As we entered this magical place, I heard Aragorn whispering something, his fingers closed around the Evenstar. I tried to ignore that but it was becoming to be too hard for me to do as if everything was alright...
Lord Celeborn greeted us, annoucing that his wife had left for Imladris a few days before. He proposed us to stay at Caras Galadhon to wait for her return. Aragorn accepted for the relief of each one of us. We needed to rest our bodies. And our hearts.
[OOC: Your welcome, Kat B ! I'm happy you like it. Personally I prefer this icon too, Gimli is funny on the pic. XD]
Legolas arrived in Lórien @ 11:19 p.m.
Monday, February 3, 2003
We are running to go to Lorien at least that is what Aragorn says. When we entered the woods, I could feel an odd feelong. I looked at legolas. He was looking around. Pfft. That is all he does. Look around and play Robin Hood with his bow and arrow. I gestured the hobbits to come closer, They say there is a elf-witch in these woods! Those who look upon her, are never seen again! But of course, they she won't overcome me, I have the eyes of an eagle and the ears of a fox! I turned forward to see a box and arrow at my face! Great! That so damages my dignity. Chest out Gimli! You rawk and girls love you. OUT! *out* A dawrf breathes so hard that we could have shot him in the dark!, Haldir says. Double ouch! Elves are so...so...If the elf witch is hearing me...GOOD! I say this...Elves are lude and styoopeed! Get it...styoopeed! No? OK! STUPID. It isn't hard!
Kat B - Thx for the new avatar thingy! I LOVE IT!!! Don't you! Aw, you know you do!
Gimli gets powed twice @ 07:51 p.m.
Monday, February 3, 2003
*boohoo* Gandalf fell in the shadows! I cried on the floor with my cousin, Merry hugging me. Why Gandalf? He was old...really old, how old was he...STOP, WHY! Why'd he die! How will we go to Mordor now? Does Aragorn know the way?! Huh? Can he bring us there? Can he lead us? can he? Well, he can, but still...Gandalf dying just is just a bag of wasted mushrooms...ROTTON mushrooms...and wasted! Legolas, pull them up! Aragorn asked loudly, emotionless. WHAT! We are going NOW! I do NEED time to think about Gandalf's death and memories of him! Give them a moment for pity sake!, Boromir cried. YEAH! Give us moments...By night fall these hills will be swarming with orcs, Aragorn said. Ok. Lets go...but! Boromir's carrying me...pls, I added.
Kat B - I posted a 2 days before about the whole thing with the giant octopus and Gandalf foregtting the way, but it didn't publish! Grr. Oh and good news...I'm don't have fever anymore! Yesh!
Pippin cries @ 07:43 p.m.
Monday, February 3, 2003
Gandalf died in Moria, the friggin Balrog pulled him down into the endless dephts...I had to grab Frodo, I think he nearly jumped down the bridge to save Gandalf. I suppose he was a really good friend of the halfling, but it was impossible to help him...it's so sad.
When we were outside the mines, I walked around and tried to comfort the crying hobbits as good as I could. Even Gimli cried, it must have been a double shock for him, because he didn't even know that Balin was already dead.
I noticed that I started to like the Hobbits. I feel like protecting them, they can't face all the peril of our journey alone, they are so small and helpless...
Boro-kun is sad @ 11:02 a.m.

Tears well in her eyes and she looks away from Elrond.
This is a burden which I must bear alone.
Her voice is unsteady and she quickly wipes the tears away from her eyes with the sleeve of her white gown. She feels embarrassed for having shown such a weakness, but Elrond is after all family. She turns back to him, looking a little stronger, the vision of the all-seeing eye fading.
I fear greatly for the Fellowship. The burdens placed on the young hobbit are especially hard. It seems to be so unfair for one so young and innocent to be sent for this task, but it is what it is and there will be no changing that now...
She pauses in her speaking and walks closer to Elrond. She looks into his eyes knowing that he too has the gift, but more the ability to see glimpses of the future. She can also see that he worries for his child, she herself also worries for Arwen. The emotional strain she puts on her heart every time she takes a breath, worrying over her lover who is far away from her in the belly of danger and death.
I have come to ask you what you plan to do. Are you going to return to Valinor along with your people or will you stay here in Middle-Earth?
She suddenly gets a terrible feeling in her stomach. She sees Arwen rush to the room with a look of alarm on her face. Galadriel sees that she has felt this feeling as well.
Something terrible has happened...
Galadriel talks a lot... @ 01:05 a.m.

Gandalf is gone... Gandalf, the one I thought would never, ever leave me... I watched him falling, but I couldn't help him, I couldn't tell him how much I was grateful to him... What will I do without his counsel ?
When the troll almost killed me, I thought that if I died, it wouldn't matter, someone else would take my burden. But Gandalf is different, I know we'll all miss him. And Bilbo too... Poor old Bilbo...
I wanted to be alone, but Strider came and told me that we should run to the woods of Lórien, as the Orcs would follow us...
Frodo grieves for Gandalf @ 05:59 p.m.
Sunday, February 2, 2003
Legolas kissed me when he caught me before the Bridge crumbled, but yet I had no time to react, or say anything but urge him to run before the rest of the Bridge fell.
Then the Balrog caught up with us. I knew it was a foe none of us could even dare to think to win against, yet Gandalf tried to fight him. And I had no choice but to stay behind, watching him do it. I watched the Balrog falling, taking Gandalf with him...
Frodo's yells brought me back to reality and I ran outside, where the rest of my companions, no, my friends were waiting. My mind was a blur. The feeling of Legolas's kiss still lingering on my cheek, the grief of losing Gandalf, the knowledge that the Fellowship depended on me all mixed up.
But my responsability was more important than the rest, so I started to rouse the company, before the Orcs started to follow us...
Aragorn has to lead the Fellowship now @ 05:47 p.m.
Sunday, February 2, 2003
We ran to the Bridge of Khazad-dûm. I heared the Belrog getting nearer. I stop and turned around, facing one of my biggest fears. Aragorn kept on running to join the others. The Belrog had brought out his fiery whip, and snarled at me.
"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" I stood with my staff infront of me, feeling his fiery breathe draw nearer.I heared the others yelling for me. I could not run away now. I had to save them.
"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" The bridge snapped in half, taking the Belrog with it. I turned around, feeling pride in beating the fiery demon. But then, I felt the whip inslave my ankle and pull me down.
"GANDALF!!!! GANDALF!!!" I heard Frodo calling for me, but it was too late to save me now.
"Fly, you fools.." And I let go, falling into the darkness..... (Maria >> Hey, I'm still going to blog as Gandalf, but I'll blog about him falling and turning into the "new" him lol)
Gandalf fell @ 03:36 p.m.
Sunday, February 2, 2003
For the first time since we left Imladris, I truly felt today we were a Fellowship. Fighting at each other side, fighting for each other. And the thought of losing Frodo brought pain and sadness in all the hearts of our Company. Thank you, dear Bilbo, for giving him the mithril coat of mail !
But too soon we heard new Orcs coming. To the Bridge of Khazad-dûm ! Gandalf cried. We all started running, in vain. The Orcs were already over us, circling us. We were ready to fight but even me knew it was useless. They were too much. It's when a piercing/ear-splitting sound echoed around us. Bright flames lightened the hall, making the Orcs shiver in fear. They all disappeared in a few seconds, letting us alone. The sound and the flames were coming closer and closer.
What is this new devilry ? Boromir asked in a whisper. A demon of the Ancien World... A Balrog. Gandalf answered. A Balrog ? We'll be lucky if we go out of the Moria alive ! Gandalf told us to run and we did so, pushing the Hobbits to make them go faster.
We soon reached the stairs to the Bridge as everything was collapsing around us. I caught Aragorn as he jumped to join the safer stairs where we were waiting for Frodo and him. His unshaven cheek brushed against mine and, instinctively, my grip around his shoulders tightened. I looked at him. The world was coming to its end, shadows covering us... But he was there. The hope of the Men. My hope. I kissed his cheek, softly, but he immediatly pushed me away. Legolas, no... We have to go... I nodded and ran to the Bridge.
I reached the other side when the Balrog finally appeared. I didn't even looked at it and continued my way, following Gimli, Sam, Merry and Pippin to the exit. I heard screams behind me but I was already outside and didn't understand the words. Then Boromir holding Frodo came out. Aragorn and Gandalf weren't with them.
Aragorn ! I screamed, fearing the worst. ARAGORN !!
Legolas is worried @ 11:19 p.m.
Sunday, February 2, 2003
Sauron's eye watched as Gollum creeped up on the fellowship, watching. The way that thing speaks is annoying, he thought aloud, ignoring the way the orcs around the tower all looked up in confusion. Really annoying.
Sauron was annoyed @ 04:31 p.m.
Sunday, February 2, 2003
Elrond nodded mutely at Arwen. "Please," he said to her in elvish still. "Do not worry too much for him, Arwen. He can take care of himself."
Without waiting for a reply from Arwen, he walked back to the room where he had left Galadriel to rest, and stood at the end of the room.
"Are you having nightmares?" he questioned, frowning slightly. "Tell me about them? Perhaps we can steady one another's worry."
Elrond went to speak to Galadriel @ 04:25 p.m.
Sunday, February 2, 2003
Galadriel dreams strange dreams. As if she is looking through someone else’s eyes she sees a tomblike place where skeletons litter the ground with spears and arrows riddling their bones. A shaft of light shines on a stone sarcophagus and a dwarf seems to be mourning at the foot of it. Suddenly Galadriel realizes that this is the Fellowship. She sees the goblins and the cave troll, even the ‘killing’ of Frodo.
She is thankful that Bilbo was wise enough to give him the elven armor. That part of her dream is suddenly cut short. She falls into darkness and feels uneasiness. The dream-her turns around and sees the eye, the all-seeing eye looking at her.
She cries out and sits up quickly. She blinks her eyes a few times and remembers where she is and sighs. Placing a hand over her eyes she stands and rubs them gently, walking over to the balcony and looking out at the beautiful night sky. The stars shine bright and twinkle at her. She smiles and turns as she hears Elrond enter the room.
The dreams of Galadriel @ 03:59 a.m.
Sunday, February 2, 2003
The sun is slowly sinking in the sky and she watches it passively, not really seeing the beautiful colors in the sky. Her mind is on the one she loves, the bittersweet love. She places her hand over her chest where her necklace once was.
Please let him be safe…
She bows her head and closes her eyes. Quiet footsteps walk towards her, she already knows how it is however.
She turns as her father speaks, surprised at his words.
Galadriel is here? Why is she here? A million thoughts run through her mind as she tires to silently solve the puzzle. She smiles at her father noting the worry in his eyes.
Yes father, please inform Lady Galadriel that I would like to speak with her.
She turns back around hoping the feeling of loss is just a silly feeling, but it seems as if it is growing stronger in her heart.
Arwen and the sunset @ 01:26 a.m.
Sunday, February 2, 2003
I tried to protect the Hobbits, but they decided to help out Boromir, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli. The battle was fierce, but our fellowship never showed any weakness.
Frodo tried escaping from the grasp of the Cave Troll, but he was overpowered. The Trolls spear stabbed Frodo. I thought he was done for it.
We finally took down the Troll and the rest of the Orcs. We ran over to Frodo and Sam. Suddenly, Frodo sat up.
What, but how?
Frodo, you're alive!
There is more then meets the eye here..... I had forgotten about the Mithril. Ah, Bilbos gift. Thank goodness that Frodo is alright. We couldn't have lost our Ringbearer.
Gandalf battled @ 06:56 p.m.
Saturday, February 1, 2003
Orcses my Precious !!! Orcses are too big and scary to attack them. And they many... We cannot fights them... They will kill the Hobbitses and big ones and then we can take the Precious...
Orcses !!! @ 05:51 p.m.
Saturday, February 1, 2003
Legolas heard the Orcs coming, and the bigger of us stood in front of the door, meaning Boromir, Legolas, and me, ready to confront them. Gandalf stayed behind to cover the hobbits.
I looked quickly at Legolas, and saw him, tense, ready to fight. I hope he'll be alright. And Frodo too...
Aragorn waits for the Orcs @ 05:44 p.m.
Saturday, February 1, 2003
We all followed Gimli into the room where was the tomb of his cousin Balin. He kneeled next to it and cried. I walked to him and tried to say something to comfort him but I couldn't find the words. I don't know what is to be in mourning. So I just stayed there, looking at the ground.
Gandalf found a book, a kind of diary and read it to us. The Dwarves have been made prisoners in their own 'house' and killed to the last one. And the danger was still there.
We cannot linger I told Aragorn who was standing next to me. He nodded and was about to say something when the sound of metal bumping against stone bursted into the room, echoing in each gallery and tunnel of the mines. Pippin had just let a warrior Dwarf skeleton fall into a well.
A long silence followed and I heard Aragorn sighed deeply. Gandalf angrily said something to Pippin that I didn't hear because I was too focused on the new noise my ears just caught. Drums.
Orcs ! I shouted. My companions all took out their weapons and Boromir ran to the doors. He almost got wounded by an arrow and turned to us : They have a cave troll... he said, closing the doors. We sealed them with axes and I prepared my bow. Gimli jumped onto the tomb of his cousin. Let them come. There is one dwarf yet in Moria who still draws breath ! he mumbled.
The Orcs were there and I shot, immediatly preparing a new arrow. But they already were in the room...
Legolas is ready to fight @ 10:08 p.m.
Saturday, February 1, 2003
Thanks for the compliments about the layout ! XD Kat B, there's no problem if you want to make one. Indil already told me she will do the fourth one, so version 5 is for you. Eheh...
Indil, thanks for taking back the part of Frodo.

My Precious has finally come to where it's dark and nicccccccce. Now we can take that filthy hobbit in our hands and kill him, Precious. But we must first wait until the big ones are asleep, yesssssssss, My Precious, we don't want them to kill usssssssss...
Gollum follows his Precious @ 08:12 p.m.
Friday, January 31, 2003
We entered the Mines of Moria. I knew Gandalf was afraid to come this way, I saw it in his eyes, there must be something here he doesn't want to face.
We soon found out why Gandalf was so afraid. There were dead dwarves everywhere !!! Even Balin, the Lord of Moria, and Uncle Bilbo's friend. I wonder what evil is here that could kill every dwarf living in this place.
And besides... I think Gollum is following us...
Frodo is scared @ 08:05 p.m.
Friday, January 31, 2003
U.U We lost Frodo... ;______; A minute of silence for him... Just joking. Yukari won't be able to keep RPG him, so she passed him on to me. I'll keep playing Aragorn and Gollum too, though I could decide to drop him if I don't find enough time to post for all, okie ?
Btw, nice layout Eärwen !!!
Indil @ 07:59 p.m.
Friday, January 31, 2003
Finally! I jumped up from my rock and we all entered the Mines Of Moria. I could see Pippin look very excited. Soon, Master Elf, you will encounter the hospitality of the Dawrfs! Ripe meat of the bone, wine!, I boasted. What about me? Me too right? I'm hungry!, Pippin cried. Yes, yes. You too. Don't worry. This is what you call a Mine! A MINE!, I boomed adding some dramatic effect with my voice. This is no mine! This is a a TOMB!, Boromir gasped. What!? Oh that little...*looks around* Words got caught in my throat at the HORRIBLE sight. No...I whispered. NO!, I cried out loud. No! Please, no! Tears were filing my eyes and I didn't bother to wipe them away. I ran to a dead/rotten dwarf with arrows in him/her. NO! This cannot be...Legolas came and put his hand on my shoulder. Gimli, we must go!, He whispered firmly. I looked up and him and glared. He looked shock and backed away. I looked around and saw the door. The main room was glinting with faint light. I ran to it. GIMLI! Come back!, Gandalf shouted. I didn't care anymore. I didn't look back. I entered the room and a tomb lay there. Light shined on it. I cried and screamed, NO, again and again and again. I heard Gandalf or someone mutter what the markings said, but I din't care. For once, I felt...weak. Alone...Different.
Kat B - New layout is FANTASTIC Earwen!!! One day I'd like to make a layout for this blog, it won't be as great as this cause I'd never be able to think up something like this. But I'll try! *wink*
Gimli does drama @ 07:54 a.m.
Saturday, February 1, 2003
Well, we have reached the Gates of Moria, but I cannot recall what the password is.
"Speak friend, and enter". Well, we are friends of the dwarves and I have tried many words, but the doors still do not open. After many hours of thinking Frodo suggested that it might be a riddle.
"Gandalf, what is the Elvish word for friend?"
I thought, and that is when it all made sense. "Mellon"
Suddenly, the gates opened up. Frodo was right about it being a riddle. And man always doubt the intelligence of a Hobbit.
Gandalf tried to remember the password @ 04:17 p.m.
Friday, January 31, 2003
We reached the Gate of Moria, but we couldn't go in yet as Gandalf had forgotten the password and was trying to find it. Merry seemed to think the inscription was some sort of riddle, but Gandalf said it just meant that any friend of the dwarves would know the password.
I couldn't help Gandalf, so I kinda fought around with Boromir and Gimli for the food. I looked at Legolas, he looked thoughtful, but I didn't want to disturb his thoughs. I can't seem to take my mind off him lately...
Aragorn can't help Gandalf @ 05:40 p.m.
Friday, January 31, 2003
After seeing Galadriel to her room, Elrond decided to look for Arwen to inform her of her grandmother's arrival. He knew that the girl would want to talk to her, and it would probably keep her mind off Aragorn as much. Elrond worried for Arwen a lot.
There was no way that the two of them could be together, he knew. She was an elf, and he a man. They were of two different worlds, equal and opposite. There could be no happiness for them in the end. He only hoped one day Arwen would understand. He could not bare it if he had to watch his daughter waste away after the death of her beloved.
"Arwen," he said as he approached the girl from behind. "Galadriel has arrived, my daughter. She rests now. Would you like me to ask her to speak to you when she awakens?" His words were in elvish, as he felt no need to speak to his daughter in the common language of Middle Earth.
Elrond looked for Arwen @ 05:15 p.m.
Friday, January 31, 2003
The night was well advanced and deep when we finally reached the Walls of Moria. The light of the moon and stars revealed us the doors of ithildin and we realized that Gandalf had forgotten the password... So we all took patience and waited. Pippin looked specially disappointed as he was waiting to eat the feast Gimli has promised us.
I found a tree and sat between its roots. Strangely, I was feeling cold. My clothes and skin were still a little wet after we all got buried under the snow. Aragorn, Boromir and Pippin started to fight about apples. Just wait to see Aragorn use a bow, Son of Gondor ! All what he knows about archery, he learnt it from me so he can only be good ! It was such a happy time, at Mirkwood, with Aragorn... Before Arwen, before all that mess. I couldn't stop to look at him from where I was sitting and all I wished for was to be back in the past, during these bright years.
Want one ? someone suddenly asked me. I looked up only to find Gimli standing in front of me, handing me an apple. I hadn't heard him come. Something must be wrong with me.
Thank you, Gimli. I took the apple but just stared at it.
Legolas remembered the past @ 10:42 p.m.
Friday, January 31, 2003
Today's big event: Aragorn threw an apple for Pippin and it hit my head (I had to carry the little one). Damn, that hurt! Pippin gave me a look...I didn't like it! He thinks I'm a baby, I bet! *argh*
So I picked up the apple and before handing it to Pippin, I spat on it! *mwahahahaha* Hell, I'm so evil! >D (he didn't even notice and ate it!)
Well, we will take the route through Moria, the friggin ringbearer decided (what a foolish thing to leave such an important decision to a Hobbit! I mean - he nearly died at that moment, I suppose I had said the same in that situation. But...it's unfair. I wish we could go to Minas-Tirith...*sob*...oops...got carried away!).
I didn't like the mountain. First, I had to carry the Hobbit who made cheeky remarks everytime I stumbled (curse him!)(the soles of my shoes are slippery, we're not used to snow in my city). Then Aragorn hit me with the apple AND we got buried under tons of snow! I fuckin hate winter! I hope those mines make a better road. I'll beat the shit out of the dwarf if they're not...
Boromir got a bruise @ 09:46 p.m.
Friday, January 31, 2003
New layout ! XD I hope you all like it. I'm pretty happy with this one, especially the colors scheme. ^__^
More characters ! Please, welcome Pippin and Arwen, played by Kat B and Kaoru. I'm very happy with the way this RPG is taking. Keep up the great posts !! *huggles everybody*
Gotta run ! Dinner time !
Eärwen @ 07:00 p.m.

Mines of Moria Gimli says and so we go! He talks about food and great welcome. I cannot wait!!! I am very hungry. Meat...yum! I am very hungry! I wonder if we will have Mushrooms there. I will extremely enjoy that. I rubbed my hands together. "You cold?", Merry asked me. "No...just thinking about Mushrooms.", I say in a dreamy voice, "Gandalf, can we stop for Tea break?" Gandalf boomed at me, "No you fool! We must go on!" Hmph. What does he know! He's as thin as a stick! Grr. I am so hungry. "Here. Just take an apple." Aragorn tossed me an apple. It hit Boromir's head and fell to the ground. (Boromir is carrying me) Boromir wailed. Baby-ish guy. It is just an apple! "Now I kno why you use swords not Bow and Arrows," Boromir muttered. Legolas and Gimli smirked and Aragorn pretended to throw another apple at him. "Guys? I still want the apple, you know?" I said out loud.
Pippin and food @ 09:26 p.m.
Friday, January 31, 2003
We waded through the snow in Caradhras. It is cold, but I refuse to show any sign of freezing because that would be just so sissy. Aragorn looks cold, but I don't see a single shiver, but I promise you, he's skin is as cold as ice. Brave chap. Suddenly, I could hear faint low chanting from afar. Legolas whipped his head to the horizon. His face looked worried. What do you see Legolas?, I asked. Legolas looked back and Gandalf said it for him, SARUMAN! Icy snow fell from the top mountain and we got buried with snow. I wriggled and wriggled. I could hear the Hobbits cry, "Gimli? Where is he? Help him! He's too small!" Grr! I am not too small! They are only up and breathing cause the humans pushed them up. Little brats! I tried to push myself up, but I couldn't. I will regret saying this...but my height is a big problem here. I looked around and wiped snow from my eyes. I could see...snow...and A FOOT!!? I grabbed at it. I worked my way up...not to up tho. This foot's owner's hand grabbed my beard before I reavhed "there" and pulled me up! Gimli! Guys! i found him!, it was Aragorn. Goodie, I muttered. I growled...UH!...You did not find me. I found you! Your legs was kicking my face!, I growled. He gave me the, Yeah Right look. I turned to Gandalf and said, "We must go through the mines of Moria! We must! We have no choice. We cannot continue this way!" Yay!...?
Gimli grabs Aragorn @ 07:30 p.m.

She turns her gentle, but wise face towards her son-in-law and smiles softly.
Elrond… Thank you.
She holds out her hand which he takes and leads her inside. She quickly sits on an intricately designed chair where the wood swirls like frozen wind. The hem of her dress is gray and tattered and she finally shows her weariness.
I have much to discuss with you, but first… I should like to rest.
Silent footsteps and the whisper of cloth on stone and Galadriel is taken to a room. The elf who had brought her to the room nods her head in respect and leaves. Galadriel heads for the bed and sits on the edge of it, thinking back on the last time when she was this tired. She shakes her head not wanting to think back on the bad times and walks to the balcony to see her children before resting. She watches them for a long while, the couple who talk of the brewing darkness, and the older elves who discuss the end of the elves. All around her is sadness, but also hope. Only the very young can dance and play as if nothing is amiss. She smiles ever so slightly.
Tihr a' Lahn…
Finally she goes back to the bed and rests.
ooc: What Galadriel says in elvish means 'dance in the light' meaning she wants her people to always be happy like the young elves.
Galadriel finally rests @ 12:30 a.m.

We are losing pace. We are about 2 days behind of where I was hoping to be by now. The Hobbits are getting extremely weary, so we have to rest now and then.
We are planning to go thourgh the Mines of Moria, for the mountains are not safe anymore. Saruman knows we are in the mountains, thus giving him an easy oppertunity to kill us. Moria is our only choice now. I am not pleased with it, but there is no other solution.

The pass of Caradhras is perilious, but Gandalf keeps pushing us forward, as he has done ever since we saw the Crebain. I think he's afraid of what Saruman is planning.
I looked at the hobbits in front of me, and I found out that they were half-buried in the snow. I walked to Boromir and suggested that we carry the hobbits. I looked at Legolas, but I wonder if he'd be offended if I asked him something, so I'd better not say anything.

The road of the Pass of Caradhras is even more difficult than I first thought. Especially for my companions. I'm lucky, I think. We, Elves, don't feel the cold and have this ability to walk on the snow without sinking into it.
The Hobbits are the ones who suffer the most. It won't be long before Aragorn, Boromir or me will have to carry them. And Gandalf keeps going without a break. He wants to arrive on the other side as soon as possible, even if we have to walk during the night. Let's just hope nothing will come across our way...

Legolas gave the Fellowship the alert about the Crebain, yet, we had little time to hide. I had little time to think before I dragged Legolas into hiding. I did it out of concern for the Fellowship, yet, my heart stung at the thought of him getting hurt.
Anyway, Gandalf has changed our route. We'll attempt to get to the other side of the Misty Mountains through Caradhras. I'm afraid this way will prove too hard for the Hobbits, but Gandalf knows more about their capabilies than me, so I trust him.
Aragorn is unsure @ 06:31 p.m.

We took a long rest today. Gandalf made us stop at midday. Gimli found [hum...] a place with lots of boulders, dominating the valleys. Very nice view, I must admit. Gandalf seems more worried than before. Probably because we are getting closer to Isengard or maybe because Frodo is fiddling with the Ring very often now.
Sam was cooking and it was smelling good. But I refused the food he gently brought to me, pretexting I had to watch. The truth is that I wasn't hungry. Sam looked at me a little sadly then went to sit next to Frodo. The two friends were watching Boromir giving some sword art lessons to Merry and Pippin. Our Hobbits have their own technique which is pretty interesting ! Aragorn was giving them advices, smiling and smoking, touching the Evenstar necklace from time to time. Mmmm... I love Aragorn's scent after he has smoked and... Wait ! Where are you going Legolas ? Stop that immediatly ! I shook my head and concentrated on my watch again.
Gimli proposed once more to pass by the Moria. He was so disappointed Gandalf refused, again, that I proposed to give him some archery lessons. But he refused, starting to say how much his axe was more useful and stuffs then defying me to lift it. I walked to him and leant to take the axe when I saw a movement on my right. A little black form was moving forward in our direction. Gimli first thought it was a cloud but, as Boromir noticed, it was moving fast and against the wind. I looked better.
Crebain from Dunland ! I shouted, recognizing the birds.
Aragorn told us to hide and everybody did so... forgetting Billy, the poney. I ran to the poor animal but Aragorn caught me as I passed next to him. You don't have the time ! he said before pulling me under a bush with him. His grip around my arm was tight and I knew it was useless to fight against him. I just looked away as the birds turned over our camp before disappearing. We all got out of our hiding places and Aragorn let go off me.
The passage south is being watched Gandalf said. We must take the Pass of Caradhras.
I looked to the moutain over us. The sharp and dangerous Pass of Caradhras, always covered with snow... None of my companions, especially the Hobbits, looked very convinced about this road.
[OOC: Ooooppss, long entry ! Oo;; Sowwy, I think I got carried away a little... ^^;;;;]
